Thank God!
It’s Monday morning again… it’s a full year since I’ve known SAS… he reminded me of it this morning via YM… amazing!
I spent the weekend in Seremban again…met up with the family at NSFA to have N9’s famous Masak Lemak Daging Rusa…FANTASTIC! Then I went off to my good old dentist to have my regular 6 month checkup. Realized how alien-like I am when walking around Seremban town especially when they start to stare. Okay, maybe my attire was very KL-like… or perhaps the Seremban-lites aren’t familiar with the “wearing shorts and t-shirt” concept. For God’s sake…this is hip… I have not read anything recently about wearing tight jeans, and caterpillar shoes is hip! COME ON GUYS…wake up and smell the masak lemak! Hahahahahah
Was too tired so I had an early night…waking up and later had breakfast at my sister’s place nearby. Lemang and Sambal Tumis ikan belis and petai was on the menu for breakfast. YUMMY! I was later asked to pick my dad up from his house for lunch… My sisters have prepared Laksa Johor and Popia basah (just like the way my late grandmother used to make) for the birthday bash! Oh yeah, as usual, we’d be making an excuse to have a little get together and this time it was for my youngest sister’s birthday. And as usual, the kids get presents from the wonderful uncles and aunties hehehehe…what a life they have! After lunch, dessert were served. I made some Fruit Jelly last night… and of course, birthday cake was on dessert tray too. Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Cake… I had an eighth of a cake… looked too good to say no to!
Later that afternoon, I decided to take a little drive to @enstek nearby coz SAS wanted to check out their new development. Took my nephews and brother in law with me. LOVELY houses! Then I decided to take the car for a car wash as the car needed washing and vacuuming. Got back to my parent’s, had a shower and off I went to my sister’s again for dinner. Left Seremban via the Labu-Sendayan route about 8pm. Arrived home about 9.30pm…and realized that I don’t have my small-wallet containing my credit cards… thinking I might have left it at my parent’s place.
Called up my parents and told them about it. Then I called Maybank to cancel my CC and ATM Card, and was about to call crappy Citibank when the phone rang…and there he was… this guy just told me he found my wallet at the Car Wash…Alhamdulillah! I called my mom and asked her to drive over to the car wash to pick the wallet up. Wow… yet another test from God…normally He’d be doing this either coz I’ve forgotten to do something, I’ve forgotten about Him lately or sometimes it’s because He wanted to make a point. I’ll need some private time to do some soul searching again.
Oh well, I thank Him for helping me out yet again…anyway… enough of all this, best I start doing some work now… will write more soon.
