Happy Birthday RR!
Well, I came home last night to an empty but wonderful re-organised living room. Made myself a cup of coffee and lepak-ed for a bit before having a quick shower as I had a birthday gathering-dinner to go to at BSC. ES was suppose to pick me up after Maghrib so I thought she’d hopefully be arriving around 8.15pm. It was 8.20pm when I decided to SMS her to see where she is right now… I thought perhaps she’s stuck in a traffic jam… or worse case scenario, she’s probably lost…coz it’s her first time picking me up from my place.
Then I got her reply saying that she WAS lost but now she’s found her way…and it was about 8.25pm then…so I thought I might as well wait for her at the guard house. Waited for sometime, but there was still no sign of her. Finally she called, saying that she’s made a wrong turning and luckily I knew exactly where she was…so I guided her to my place through the phone… glad she arrived fine. We were lucky coz majority of the guests did turn up late… no surprises there!
The birthday bash was alright… an excuse to chill out and chat… a number of RR’s friends and colleagues turned up. I was in my funny-cheerful mood… so that helped a lot! Hahahahhaah Left for home around 11pm…and decided to go to bed as I had to wake up early to send the car for service.
Arrived at the Service Centre about 8.15am…there was no one around… whoppeee! Took the technicians half-an-hour to sort my car out. I even managed to get free HONDA pens when they finally handed the keys over. NICE PENS by the way! Went home to change and arrived at work around 11.30am…after making a few stops to the bank. Work is not that hectic…so it was kind of a nice day for me…pretty easy going to say the least. SA and FG took half day off so the place is pretty quiet not having them around.
I had one of those easy-flowing Operation Meetings again this afternoon… MR is always on my case as usual…but hey, everyone in the meeting knew the issues raised were all political… so they just couldn’t be bothered to hear his moans and groans hahahahah!
It’s 7.20pm and I’m still at the office… nope I;m not a workaholic… just had to stay back a bit late as I did start a bit late today and furthermore I had to pick up SAS from the airport. He’s coming back from his business trip to Penang, and he’s about to see my wonderful re-organised condo…That’ll make him green with envy! Hahahahahahahah
Anyway… enough of all this… need to do a report and then I’m off. Will write more later…adios!
